Find the perfect lamb recipe for Easter
Every year around Easter, my friends start sending me messages asking which lamb recipe they should make for Easter Sunday. I always reply to the question β how many people, income of the day or before, high budget or low, would you like reddish pink slices or crumbled bacon? Based on that, I direct them to the sheep that suits them best.
So this year, I thought it would be helpful to turn that little thing into a guide so I can point you in the direction. yours The perfect Easter Lamb recipe! Hope this is useful for you. π
βοΈTOP TIPS βοΈ
Leg of lamb is more economical than shoulder. A 2.5kg leg serves 8β10, while a 2.5kg shoulder serves 4β5, as a slow cooked shoulder will shed more weight. But the legs are best served freshly made. But the shoulders can be brought forward, it will heat back up 100% perfectly, and that’s it very hands-off.

Easter Lamb Matchmaker
To use this matchmaker, answer the questions below and they will direct you to the Easter lamb that suits your needs. Notes: This is for lamb main dishes, not for skewers, meatballs and stews like Tagine. For my complete collection of lamb recipes, see Lamb Recipes.
1. HANDS OR HANDS?
The first order of things is: Do you want something hands-off, or are you happy to be more involved? Think slow cooker roasted leg of lamb that can be steamed and forgotten (i.e., low effort) versus blush-pink oven roasted leg of lamb that needs monitoring and is best served immediately (i.e., more practice).

-

Hope you find your perfect match!
Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these lamb recipes, it’s more about which recipe suits your needs.
As for my first choice? Always use 12 hour lamb shoulder for a delicious, rich flavor that is superior to the leg, plus it can be reheated. I often bake them in disposable foil trays for transport convenience. To reheat it, I’ll do it in the oven if time allows, otherwise I’ll pop it in the microwave (YES I DO!) If I’m short on time to cook, I’ll make a 3 hour roast version of the shoulder. And if I Really since prep time is short, I’m going to do a 5 minute Massaman Bahu prep, which I actually just did for lunch last weekend for the same reason.
When an occasion calls for a carving moment or when I want one big roast to serve 10 people, I’ll make a classic Roast Leg of Lamb with all the trimmings. I really love a good leg of lamb!
Hope you enjoy this Matchmaker. Now, meet your perfect sheep match β no awkward first dates required! -Nagi x

Remembering Dozer
Nothing could have prepared me for this. I never imagined in a million years that I would fill my home with Dozer art gifted to me by readers. They came for weeks, each one came with so much love and care that it honestly stopped me in my tracks and made me cry when I opened them.

I made a little video about this piece of art that I thought you might like to see:
I have a gazillion photos of Dozer, but these photos have a special meaning that only handmade can do. I will put it in my house and will keep it forever.
With all my heart thanks to the talented artists:
1. Michelle Jung from MJ Drawing a Dog

2. Robyn Ross

3. New Alexandra

4. Rachel Somers

5. Roslyn Elm

I framed them all very large so they have presence! Many thanks to Sydney Picture Frames in West Ryde for the fantastic work they did on the framing β friendly, great advice, quick turnaround and great value.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a βmoney siteβ in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Googleβs ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as βlink juiceβ) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
